Avido Khahaifa, senior vice president and general manager of Orlando Sentinel Communications, announced the appointment of René Rodríguez as general manager of El Sentinel, the company’s weekly Spanish-language newspaper, effective immediately.

“René is a great addition to our senior management team,” said Khahaifa. “His vast knowledge of sales and marketing, especially to the Hispanic market, will serve us well as we continue to strengthen El Sentinel and our Hispanic initiatives in Central Florida.”
