Edelman Diversity Solutions To Help Promote LALIFF.
September 4, 2005
The Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (LALIFF), a nonprofit organization that showcases the works of national and international Latino filmmakers, has partnered with Edelman’s Diversity Solutions practice in Los Angeles to create and implement a public relations campaign to raise awareness about this year’s festival and help generate attendance. The festival will take place October 21-30, 2005, at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, Calif.
Edelman has committed to ensure visibility for LALIFF’s founders and filmmakers in local and national general and Hispanic media outlets. Edelman has supported the work of Latin filmmakers through the years and strongly believes in its potential to open the doors of communication and break the barriers of culture and language.
“Edelman is clearly a leader in the multicultural space, so we are pleased that the firm has agreed to partner with LALIFF to ensure exposure for the works we present and recognition for our organization achievements in the international Latino film industry,” said Marlene Dermer, founder and festival organizer at LALIFF.
“We are proud to participate in this exciting event and generate awareness of the excellent-quality cinema created by Latinos all over the world,” said Romina Bongiovanni, western region manager at Edelman Diversity Solutions.
The Chicago Latino International Film Festival recently partnered with Edelman’s Diversity Solutions practice in Chicago to provide awareness about the festival in the area. In addition, the New York Latino International Film Festival partnered with Edelman in New York on a similar effort for the third year in a row.
