Telemundo KVEA-TV Grows News Ratings.

Telemundo’s KVEA, the network’s flagship station in the Los Angeles market, announced its 6 pm newscast ranked number one the week of August 22nd delivering a 3.25 rating among Adults 25-54 (the prime demo for news viewing); beating Univision’s local station KMEX. In addition, KVEA ranked #1 among A18-49 three out of the five nights, outperforming KMEX in that key demo as well.
KVEA’s 6 pm ratings growth represents a 63% increase compared to July ’05. In early fringe the station also saw an increase, delivering a 3.0rating in A25-54, an 11% increase from Jul’05. The week’s average 2.7 rating for KVEA represented an 80% increase compared to the month of July 2005.
