Natalia Streignard, who played villain Ariana Dupond in Telemundo’s original production “Anita no te Rajes,” and Christian Meier, who stars in the movies “No se lo Digas a Nadie” and “La Mujer de mi Hermano,” both based on the books by Jaime Bayly, star as María Teresa Montilla and Santos Torrealba, a woman and a man who come from different worlds and are completely incompatible. Both will discover that there is only one short step between hate and love, although they will do whatever is possible to avoid falling for each other.

The story begins when María Teresa, a businesswoman used to the city life, has to leave all her comforts behind and move to La Tormenta, her father’s ranch which she must turn into a profitable business, to avoid bankruptcy.

Completely convinced that she will accomplish her goal as usual, once she arrives at the ranch she realizes it will not be as easy as she thought since this is a totally unknown and savage world to her. For María Teresa the worst part about her new challenge is having to deal with Santos Torrealba, the person in charge of the ranch, a man from the countryside, known for being a ladies man, with whom she has several clashes from their first encounter.

The moment their eyes meet, it is obvious that they are too different to live under the same roof. No matter how hard they try to stay apart, the chemistry between them continues to grow, leading to a passionate affair where hatred turns out to be the beginning of the purest love they ever experienced.
