The most amazing story on Spanish-language television begins on Monday, July 18 at 8:30PM/7:30PM Central on Telemundo with the grand premiere of “El Cuerpo del deseo”. Starting on Tuesday, July 19, the novela will return to its regular schedule at 8PM/7PM Central. With an all-star cast including Mario Cimarro, Lorena Rojas and the awaited return of Andrés García, this one-of-a-kind original production from Telemundo tells the story of a man who lived, died and came back for love. From the producers of “Anita No Te Rajes”, “Amor Descarado” and “Prisionera,” and with Lorena Rojas singing the novela’s theme song, “El Cuerpo del Deseo” is the latest creation of the legendary writer Julio Jiménez, who was also the author of Telemundo’s successful novela “Pasión de Gavilanes.”

Imagine having everything, imagine finding love, imagine losing everything, imagine being able to return… this is the story of Pedro José Donoso (Andrés García), a wealthy old man, who at age 67 has everything he ever wanted, including the love of Isabel Arroyo (Lorena Rojas), a young and beautiful woman. Salvador Cerinza (Mario Cimarro) is a young and humble peasant, devoted to his family. Destiny brings Pedro José and Salvador together when both die at the same time.
