Pepsi & Yahoo! en Español Team Up.

Yahoo! en Español and Pepsi announced that they are joining forces to launch a new program and provide co-branded content offerings on Yahoo! Música (musica.yahoo.com). Original video programming adapted from the hit TV show, “Pepsi Música,” will be featured on the microsite.

Each week Yahoo! Música will showcase the top performances from “Pepsi Música” for users to enjoy on demand, along with interviews and a preview of the show’s upcoming performances. Music fans will also have unprecedented access to archives of “Pepsi Musica’s” past performances and the program’s exclusive interviews with chart-topping Latin artists. Additionally, “Pepsi Música” will sponsor the Top 100 Latin Music videos section on Yahoo! Música.

“Music is a passion for young Latinos and this alliance with Yahoo! Música will allow us to connect with them in an engaging way,” said Tyler Ricks, director of multicultural marketing, Pepsi-Cola North America. “Now we’re able to generate a larger following for ‘Pepsi Musica’ and give people access to footage from the show when they want it, 365 days a year.”

The Yahoo! Música and Pepsi Música initiative will be supported by a marketing campaign and online promotions.
