Soraya: A Survivor Story that will Inspire Latinos @ Prevention en Español.

Prevention en Español is constantly looking for a real connection between Latin women and their wellness concerns. Reynaldo Ales, the editor of Prevention en español, explained that during the planning for the July cover he immediately thought of Soraya, a famous Colombian singer and her successful struggle against breast cancer.

With emotion he informed us that when he contacted Soraya she was more than willing to share her outstanding story with Prevention’s Hispanic readers. Soraya definitely felt that it was important to encourage Prevention’s readers by showing them that serious wellness and health battles can be won.

Soraya is now an active crusader creating awareness about breast cancer among Latinos in the US Hispanic community. Ales were the first to believe that she had the perfect story for convincing Latin women to get the recommended and necessary preventive exams.
Her story is now available for all interested to read in an 8 page interview which will reach many thousands of women in the July edition of Prevention en español.
