Allianz Life Acknowledges Latino Youth Achievers.

Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz Life) announced a special contribution for the six national winners of the Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards. As an official sponsor of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, Allianz Life has been an active participant in the Foundation’s Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards Program. The program recognizes excellence in academics, sports, journalism, healthcare, engineering and mathematics, and community service in high school seniors in 12 regions across the country.

“Allianz Life supports the Hispanic Heritage Foundation’s efforts to promote Hispanic pride, culture and accomplishment through comprehensive programs that educate, enlighten and inspire,” said Mark Zesbaugh, Allianz Life president/CEO. “Through this partnership, we hope to mirror these efforts by providing Hispanic youth with the knowledge for a sound financial future.”

The special contribution to the national winners will consist of an all-expense paid trip to New York City, the financial capital of the United States. The trip includes visits to major cultural and financial landmarks such as the New York Stock Exchange and the financial district. Educational workshops lead by Allianz Life representatives will provide winners with effective financial planning information and cover such topics as personal finances, basic saving and investing, and long-term saving and care.

“Allianz Life embraces the importance of reaching an increasingly diverse world with messages about financial security,” said Jose Antonio Tijerino, president and CEO of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation. “We are pleased to have such a committed new partner.”
