Hernández-Fallous – Publisher Of Teen People & People en Español.

Cathy O’Brien, group publisher of Time Inc.’s Growth Markets Group, announced that People en Español publisher Jacqueline Hernández-Fallous has been appointed to publisher of Teen People in a newly-created role in which she will oversee both growth market brands, effective immediately. In her new role, Hernández-Fallous will be responsible for the day-to-day business operations for Teen People and for People en Español.

“It’s rewarding to be able to draw from an internal pool of established talent,” said O’Brien. “Jackie is a proven leader under whom People en Español experienced double-digit growth in ad sales and circulation. Among Jackie’s many strengths is her multi-media background across print, online and television. Advertisers in both the multicultural and youth markets will certainly gain from her integrated media experience and expertise.”

Diane Malloy, associate publisher of People en Español, has been appointed to associate publisher of Teen People effective immediately. She will be responsible for spearheading Teen People’s advertising sales and marketing strategies.

“Diane will be an invaluable addition to the Teen People team,” added O’Brien. “She brings a solid skill set and a strong track record of identifying areas of business growth and has been a key player in the success of People en Español’s integrated marketing programs.”

Manny Fuentes, associate publisher of Teen People has been named to associate publisher of category development for both Teen People and People en Español. In his new role, Manny will be responsible for breaking new categories in the multicultural and youth markets.

Carmen Lopez, currently People en Español west coast ad director, has been appointed to national director of integrated sales for People en Español. She will continue to oversee all west coast operations for People en Español in addition to developing integrated programs for targeted accounts, nationwide.
