Alianza Latina de Beisbol.

The Caribbean Confederation of Professional Baseball and B2Z/Altus Entertainment have announced a new venture making B2Z/Altus Entertainment the agency of record for a new entity named Alianza Latina de Beisbol/Latin Baseball Alliance.

This new entity, by leveraging its pageantry and passion and consolidating its extensive assets under one roof, is excited to export Alianza Latina de Beisbol/Latin Baseball Alliance to the rest of the baseball world. Today that includes leagues in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Dominican Republic. Each League is comprised of local teams that compete for the native country’s championship title. The local season begins in November and runs through the end of January. The winning team in each country then participates in the culminating tournament in February called the “Caribbean World Series” where one team is crowned World Champion.

“For years marketers have lamented that connecting with the U.S. Hispanic population is a difficult challenge. By immersing in the local community with Caribbean Baseball, brands will have an opportunity to effectively communicate their message to this fragmented audience, said Sara Loarte, President of Altus Entertainment. Caribbean Baseball is a property that resonates with the primary countries that make up the Hispanic population.”

This new partnership promises to focus on defined components of the property, talent development and “exporting in-country experience”. With the conversions of media the opportunity of integrated marketing tactics such as live events, “watch parties”, parades, and such will enable corporate clients to reach this untapped market. The Latin Baseball Alliance fosters and develops the best Hispanic Baseball talent and spreads the cultural and rhythmic Hispanic Baseball experience worldwide.
