El Nuevo Dia Orlando Launches APRENDE section.

El Nuevo Día Orlando announced the beginning of a new stage in its commitment with the Hispanic community of Central Florida by launching the new section, APRENDE. APRENDE is part of an educational program that promotes the development, learning and practice of the Spanish and English language among the Hispanic youth.

APRENDE’s content is relevant to general and current topics which are included in schools curriculums like science, history, and mathematics, among others. Linda Hernández, Executive Editor of El Nuevo Día Orlando comments, “We are very excited to dedicate a section in El Nuevo Día Orlando that is especially designed to promote the development and learning of critical analysis among the Hispanic youth and to contribute in their educational process.”

“We are very pleased to work with the public education system and the private sector to help our youth with their education and to succeed in the future”, said Jaime Segura, General Manager of El Nuevo Día Orlando.

El Nuevo Día Orlando is distributed among approximately 1,000 students of the ESOL Program in Orange County. These newspapers are sponsored by various companies of Central Florida. Plans are to increase distribution in schools from Osceola, Seminole and Volusia Counties as well as in the rest of the Counties of Central Florida.
