‘Recordando a Selena’ Kicks-off @ TeleFutura.

On Thursday, March 31, ten years after Selena’s tragic passing, TeleFutura Network will dedicate its primetime schedule to the Tejano Music Queen. A special titled “Recordando a Selena” (Remembering Selena) will air live from Corpus Christi from 7:00-8:00 pm ET/PT (6:00-7:00 pm Central/Mountain), followed by the Hollywood blockbuster “Selena”, 8:00-11:00 pm ET/PT (7:00-10:00 pm Central/Mountain).

Charityn Goyco, host of the popular TeleFutura variety show “Escándalo TV,” will be in Corpus Christi to take viewers on a tour of the city where Selena’s music career was born. “Recordando a Selena” will visit the places where her spirit lives on, including the spots where she played as a child, had her first taste of fame, and lost her life, becoming a legend of Tejano music. In addition, TeleFutura’s cameras will accompany thousands of Selena’s fans to an emotional graveside vigil, commemorating her death and celebrating her life.

TeleFutura will broadcast the movie in Spanish, with commentary and testimonials from Jennifer Lopez, Edward James Olmos and other cast members.
