CBS Adds Another Hispanic To The Bold & Beautiful Series? Que Pasa?

CBS Television’s The Bold and the Beautiful which is transmitted in Spanish via CBS’ secondary audio (SAP) technology, has added Shanelle Workman to its cast of series regulars. Shanelle plays Gabriela Moreno, daughter of Helen, the housekeeper at the Forrester home.
Is she a real Hispanic? We have found out that she is Brazilian. Not enough Hispanics and Spanish speaking actors around in the USA to add a real Spanish speaking actor for the character?
Increible!
No disrespect to our Brazilian brother and sisters. If she were to be characterized as a Brazilian, then it would be OK. Would Brazilians want a Mexican portraying a Brazilian?
Claro que no!
Obviously, the programming gurus at CBS are not sensitive to the emerging majority in our country.
