Editorial Televisa Announces Change In Management.

After 38 years of service to Editorial Televisa, Sara Castany has decided to step aside as Editor- in- Chief of Vanidades, our flagship publication, in order to pursue personal interests.

Sara rose from the ranks of Editorial Televisa and led Vanidades with undeniable flair and expertise, adding to its popularity and prestige in the United States and Latin America. We wish Sara the best and thank her for her dedication and contribution to this company for nearly four decades.

Jacqueline Blanco has been appointed as Editor-in-Chief of Vanidades. Jacqueline was editor of Cosmopolitan En Español, the Spanish version of Cosmopolitan and part of the portfolio of magazines published by Editorial Televisa. Blanco began her career at DeArmas Publications in Caracas in 1982 (now Editorial Televisa).

Mercedes Scott has been named the new Editor-in-Chief of Cosmopolitan en Español.

Mercedes brings 12 years of experience in the industry, recently as Editor-in-Chief of Glamour en Español. She began her professional career in Editorial Televisa as a staff writer for Tú; she later worked for Marie Claire where she was the executive editor during five years.
