Rocha – VP of Programming @ Entravision Radio.

Entravision Radio announced today that Nestor “Pato” Rocha has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Programming. In his new role, Mr. Rocha will oversee all programming and promotion operations for all of Entravision Radio’s 54 stations nationwide. He will also continue to serve as the program director for KSSE-FM 107.1 Super Estrella, Entravision Radio’s top-rated Spanish-language contemporary hits radio station, serving the Los Angeles, California market. Effectively immediately, Mr. Rocha reports to Jeffery A. Liberman, President of Entravision Radio, and will be based at the company’s Los Angeles headquarters.

A member of Entravision Radio’s programming team since 1992, Mr. Rocha is one of the programming masterminds behind the creation of Entravision Radio’s innovative formats, specifically Super Estrella. Drawing from his expertise in Spanish pop and rock music, Mr. Rocha developed and launched Super Estrella in the Los Angeles market, the first Spanish-language contemporary hits music format of its kind. In 1997, Mr. Rocha created Reventon Super Estrella, an annual concert event featuring the hottest Latin pop artists and benefiting the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and other Hispanic community organizations.

Prior to joining Entravision Radio, Mr. Rocha served as a programming executive at Latin Communications Group, which was later acquired by Entravision. During his tenure at Latin Communications Group, Mr. Rocha is credited with launching one of the first Regional Mexican-formatted radio stations, KLOK-AM, serving the San Jose-San Francisco, California market.
“Nestor’s expertise in Hispanic radio makes him the natural choice for Vice President of Programming for Entravision Radio,” said Mr. Liberman.

“Nestor is a seasoned programming professional with a proven track record and he will be a valuable resource for Entravision Radio as we continue to develop innovative Spanish-language formats for our stations.”

“Entravision Radio is leading the charge to expand Spanish-language radio and create more programming choices for its listeners,” said Mr. Rocha. “I’m excited to work with Jeff Liberman and the rest of the Entravision Radio team
to continue developing formats that will grow our listener base.”
