2nd Annual Chi-Town Latino Comedy Series.

After a very successful kick-off year, Jack Daniel’s, V5 Entertainment and iCaramba.ccom, actor/comedian John Leguizamo’s official website are back to present the biggest Latino comedy series in Chicago, the ‘Chi-Town Latino Comedy Series.’ This year’s series will be better than ever and will showcase 6 laugh-out-loud weeks of the very best in Latino comedy throughout the Chicago area.

The series will begin with a highly anticipated kick-off show on Saturday, February 12, 2005 featuring the comedy of Angelo Lozada (Loco Comedy Jam, BET’s Comic View), Eric Nieves (Showtime at the Apollo, NYPD Blue), Mark Viera (StandUP NY, Comic Strip Live) and hosted by the multi-talented TV personality and comedian, Mario Bosquez (WNYW Good Day Wakeup, StandUP New York.) Subsequent comedy shows will continue through April 1st.

In support of the series, iCaramba.com partner/spokesperson John Leguizamo stated, “The Latino Comedy Series has been very popular everywhere it’s gone and this year’s series in Chicago will be more of the same with some of the very best Latino comedians in the country.”

Each of the Chicago venues will host a new line-up of comics every week in order to provide audiences with a fresh experience every time they see a show. All of the Latino comedians will be performing in English with hilarious and culturally-relevant material that often switches back and forth between languages, ultimately giving their shows a very entertaining ‘Spanglish’ feel.

“The Chi-Town Latino Comedy Series proved very successful its first year and we are very excited to be doing this program again for all of the Latino community to enjoy” says Maribel Graham, the Midwest Hispanic Marketing Director for Brown-Forman, distributor of Jack Daniel’s.
