Voy Network announced it has named Eric Levin as President and Chief Executive Officer and John Ovrutsky as Chief Operating Officer.
Levin was a 14 year veteran of HBO serving as its Chief Financial Officer through 2001. He was responsible for all aspects of HBO’s financial operations and was involved in developing all of its strategic and operating plans.
As CEO and President he will lead the development of the VOY Network as the foremost brand reaching the rapidly-growing English-speaking Hispanic American market. Ovrustky, who was named the network’s Executive Vice President of Distribution and Marketing last November, will now serve as the company’s COO.
Ovrutsky has more than two decades of operating experience, including account management, subscription marketing and senior management leadership positions. He spent 20 years at HBO developing and managing the company’s relationships with its largest cable and satellite affiliates and was responsible for the satellite division’s success.

Andrew Thau, who served as VOY Network’s CEO and President from August 2003 to January 2005, will remain involved with the VOY Network in an advisory capacity. Levin stated, “Andrew has done a terrific job taking the network to where it is today. VOY has many initiatives and Andrew will take on an advisory role in identifying such opportunities.”
