Dominican Baseball League Finals @ ESPN Deportes.

ESPN Deportes will provide LIVE coverage of the Dominican Baseball League finals, beginning with game #1, featuring historic rivals Tigres del Licey facing Aguilas Cibaenas.

This year, Aguilas Cibaenas features one of the strongest pitching staffs in Dominican Baseball League history. The team will take on Tigres del Licey with a with a solid rotation of major league pitchers, including Bartolo Colon (Anaheim Angels), Jose Lima (Kansas City Royals), Julian Tavarez (St. Louis Cardinals), and Miguel Batista (Toronto Blue Jays). Also on the roster of Aguilas Cibaenas is Baltimore Orioles superstar Miguel Tejada and power-hitting third baseman Tony Batista. Licey will counter with its own roster of MLBers including Ron Belliard, Deivi Cruz, and veteran Jose Offerman.

Pitching legend Juan Marichal, the only Dominican- born player in the Hall of Fame, will provide commentary and analysis on ESPN Deportes telecasts. Joining Marichal for play-by-play will be veteran ESPN commentator Ernesto Jerez. Kevin Cabral and Carolina Cruz will act as field reporters.

ESPN Deportes will complement its coverage of the championship series with a special 30-minute edition of SportsCenter prior to each game. Immediately following each telecast, ESPN Deportes will air a live pre-game show that will provide viewers with the most current news and information.
