La Agencia de Orci & Asociados has appointed Stephen Chavez as Vice President, Director Of Public Relations. In this newly created position, Chavez will oversee Orci PR, the public relations and community events arm of La Agencia de Orci & Asociados.
Chavez joins Orci with 15 years experience in consumer and public affairs. During his career he has managed award-winning national Hispanic communications strategies for major brands, including The Coca-Cola Company, McDonald’s Corporation, Target Stores, Kraft Foods and Anheuser-Busch Companies. On a regional level, he has directed public relations programs for Southern California Edison, La Opinion, Washington Mutual and KCET-TV.
Starting his career in journalism, Chavez worked as reporter for The Los Angeles Times, Orange County edition and The Morning Call in Allentown, PA.
