Telemundo In Oklahoma City.

Telemundo announced that it will begin airing its network programming on full-power station KTUZ, Channel 30 in Oklahoma City on December 31st.

“There will be an extra New Year’s Eve celebration at Telemundo. We’re really excited with the addition of a full-power Telemundo affiliate in Oklahoma City which represents an important distribution enhancement for Telemundo,” said Don Browne, Chief Operating Officer, Telemundo. “It is an important step towards achieving our goal of reaching all U.S. Hispanics. We are confident that Tyler Media, a highly respected local broadcaster with a proven track record in Spanish-language radio, will be a strong Telemundo affiliate and provide an important service to the growing Spanish-speaking market in Oklahoma City.”

KTUZ, owned and operated by Tyler Media, will be the first full-service station to serve the booming Spanish-language market in Oklahoma City, which is currently ranked the 54th largest Hispanic market. KTUZ will also be the only full-power station to serve the Oklahoma City market.
