Telemundo Gains New Ground With DVD and CD Releases.

TV viewers who enjoyed watching the recently aired “Zapata, Amor en Rebeldía” miniseries and listening to the theme songs of their favorite novelas or shows, may now own their personal copy this holiday season. Telemundo has just released a DVD on the miniseries devoted to Mexican revolutionary figure Emiliano Zapata, as well as various program CD tracks now available at Ritmo Latino and music stores.

The “Zapata, Amor en Rebeldía” DVD release through Image Entertainment, starring Mexican actor Demian Bichir, is Telemundo’s second effort to gain ground in the DVD segment of the entertainment industry. The network’s first DVD release was the hugely successful “Celia Cruz: ¡Azúcar!” special.

Perfectly in tune with the joy and happiness of the holidays, fans of the following programs will be able to enjoy the release of these CD tracks:

·Anita No Te Rajes- This novela, starring Ivonne Montero and Jorge Enrique Abello, airs on Telemundo Monday thru Friday, 7pm/6c. Its soundtrack is a Telemundo Discos/Sony Discos release that features the song Anita No Te Rajes, a remix of the show’s main title co-written by series music director Alberto Slezynger alongside Juliana Barrios and Jorge Luis Chacin and performed by Bacha, as well as tracks by acclaimed and hit artists Sin Banderas, Los Panchos, Jose Alfredo Jimenez, Victor Manuelle, Kevin Johansen, Axel and Melina Leon.

·Laura- Hosted by Dr. Laura Bozzo, this Monday-Friday talk show airs on Telemundo Monday thru Friday at 4pm/3c. Its soundtrack CD is a Telemundo Discos/Sony Discos release that features the series main title “Se Siente, Se Siente,” along with the radio single “La Cumbia de Laura”.The music was composed by well-known artists Christian Suarez and La Mona Jimenez and performed by Christian Suarez.

The “Zapata, Amor en Rebeldía” DVD is available at Ritmo Latino stores. The CDs are available at any favorite record stores. These launches follow the successful release of the Pasión de Gavilanes soundtrack album named after the high-rated novela that captured many viewers’ hearts earlier this year. The CD reached gold record status after selling 100,000 units.
