Chavez – GM/GSM @ Entravision’s Television & Radio In El Centro/Yuma.

Entravision announced that Eric Chavez to General Manager/General Sales Manager of Entravision’s Television and Radio properties in the El Centro/Yuma market.

Eric joined Entravision three years ago in Santa Barbara/Santa Maria as Senior Account Executive for KPMR and KTSB. During his tenure, he set the station’s single highest sales record, and earned the Top Sales Executive of the Quarter award several times. Eric also assisted in the training and development of other KPMR/KTSB associates, and, represented the station among key community groups.

Prior to joining Entravision, Eric spent two years at KSBY-TV, the NBC affiliate in the Santa Barbara DMA, as a successful sales executive. He holds a Speech Communications undergraduate degree from the California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo. Shortly after college, Eric served as personal assistant to the founder of the United Farm Workers, the late Cesar Chavez, his grandfather. After Cesar’s passing, Eric continued to work for the UFW as a Business Representative for three more years.
