The San Jose Group announced the hiring of Raquel A. Powers as account director, public relations.

another seasoned professional to our team,” said George L. San Jose, president and COO of The San Jose Group.
Powers’ experience includes corporate communications, community relations, cause-related marketing both on the corporate and agency sides.
Most recently, she worked at Baxter International, Inc., where she was charged with the development and implementation of strategic communications for various business units. While at Weber Shandwick, she was involved in the management of several key accounts including Merck and Forest Pharmaceuticals, the coordination of high-profile events and media relations efforts.
