For those U.S. Spanish-speaking sports fans who want to enjoy a number of live NBA games in their language, Telemundo announced the new season of “La NBA en Telemundo” starting January 23, 2005.
“We are thrilled to offer our audience these games featuring the world’s greatest basketball players at their best. This coming season definitely promises to be one filled with great match-ups and remarkable action,” said Hidalgo.
Telemundo’s 15-game regular-season schedule tips off on Sunday, January 23 at 1 PM (EST), when the Denver Nuggets and Brazil’s Nenê battle the Dallas Mavericks and star Erik Dampier. Now in its third season, “La NBA en Telemundo” will air the bulk of its games on Saturdays and continue to air the popular “NBA Max,” a 30 minute weekly, lifestyle, and entertainment program hosted by Edgar López and Claudia Trejos.
