Telemundo will provide comprehensive election coverage and political analysis on Tuesday, November 2, 2004 beginning at 7PM ET / 4PM PT. Coverage will include in-depth reporting and analysis of election results and voter trends for the race for President, U.S. Senate, U.S. House, and gubernatorial elections.
Since last Monday, October 25th throughout the Election Night, Anchor Pedro Sevcec has been live from “Democracy Plaza”, the interactive exhibition at the Rockefeller Center, focusing on the history of democracy and citizenship in the United States. During the election night coverage, Sevcec will be joined by the most experienced reporting team in Spanish-language television, including Chief Washington Correspondent Lori Montenegro, Pablo Gato from Bush headquarters, Angie Sandoval from Kerry headquarters, Carlos Botifoll in Los Angeles, Gustavo Mariel in Texas, Mariela Salgado in Florida, Ilia Calderon and Rogelio Mora reporting key Senate, House, and gubernatorial races, and Cristina Londoño reporting on voting irregularities. The network’s Election Day coverage will begin on its morning news program “Hoy en el Mundo” (7AM ET/PT), will continue on its daily news magazine “Al Rojo Vivo con Maria Celeste” (5PM ET/PT), and on “Noticiero Telemundo” at 6:30PM ET/PT.
