mun2 television’s Honored With SHINE Award.

La Conexion, a talk/variety show produced by Perfect Image Film and Video Production and broadcast on mun2 television, was honored with a Shine Award in the Spanish-language Talk/Variety category at The Media Project’s 20th annual SHINE (Sexual Health In Entertainment) Awards ceremony this past Saturday at the House of Blues in Hollywood.

“We are extremely proud of this recognition, and of our great team of professionals, who work hard every day to bring relevant programming to our viewers,” said Yolanda Foster, Vice President of Programming and Promotions for mun2.

“La Conexion offers young viewers more than just music and videos,” said Anthony Perez, Executive Producer and CEO of Perfect Image. “We at Perfect Image are committed to producing quality programming that is both entertaining and educational; and through our special reports and interviews we’ll continue to deliver relevant information to our viewers.” He added, “I’m extremely proud of our production team and honored to receive the SHINE Award.”

The Media Project, which is a part of Advocates for Youth, offers entertainment professionals information, research assistance and script consultation on today’s sexual and reproductive health issues. The SHINE Awards honor nationally and internationally televised films and episodic programs for accurate and honest portrayals of adolescent sexual health issues.
