mun2 television Revamps Website.

mun2 television has revamped its website to offer a fresh look that covers new features and a broad interactive content, including a sweepstakes registration form and an open forum for visitors’ participation, announced Yolanda Foster, Vice President of Programming and Promotions at mun2 television.

“Our new site aims to further attract young Latinos in search of fun, interactive information on entertainment programming,” Foster said. “Our destination is unique since it targets acculturated bilingual Latinos and provides them with information that’s relevant to them.”

Those visiting the super hip-looking site, at www.mun2tv.com, will come across a high-energy color scheme centered around bright hues of orange. Highlighted on this front page are daily updates on mun2 signature shows including The Roof and FuZion, and weekly updates on SpeedLogic. In addition, the site features eight main navigation channels including shows, schedule, get it, fyi, events, umun2, media vault and forum.

The shows, schedule and get it channels provide visitors with information about mun2 line-up of original productions developed specifically for the young U.S. Latino; a programming grid with air-dates and times, and information as to how to get mun2 for those who still don’t have access to the network.

The new events channel features upcoming events across the nation; whether it’s a party at a local club, or a Loco Comedy Jam this section will give users all the details to make sure they take part of the action. Young, talented and looking for a career opportunity in television, marketing, public relations and advertising? The umun2 feature presents a broad spectrum of professional opportunities available at the cable network, and an opportunity to meet those who have benefited from the umun2 program.

There’s more at the media vault, featuring a photo gallery, videos and downloads. In addition, visitors can also take a look at fyi, the network’s monthly newsletter providing the latest information about the network’s shows, personalities, events and activities. Because giving information is just as important as receiving it, mun2 television’s web site features forum, an interactive message board for visitors to engage in a friendly exchange of comments and ideas with other site users.

Visitors continue to speak their minds on The Report’s Daily Poll, which takes the pulse of young U.S. Latinos on issues that affect their age group. A recent survey asked site visitors, “Do you think violent video games incite violence in real life?” Because this feature is updated daily, polls change every 24 hours.

Other interactive features include voting for the music videos that they want to see on Video Mix and Top 10, providing feedback on various topics, or contacting the network directly with any thoughts or comments that they want to share with mun2.
