Hispanic Public Relations Association 2004 PRemio Awards.

Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) annouced its 20th anniversary celebration and annual PRemio Awards & Scholarship Dinner on Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. The event will be commemorated at the home of HPRA’s first sponsored event, the historical Town and Gown ballroom located on the USC Campus.

Twenty years ago, HPRA was created to serve the Latino community by providing educational and networking opportunities to professionals in the communications industry. Our history and longevity demonstrates the dedication and countless contributions of numerous individuals that has made HPRA what it is today. In honor of this history, we will recognize past presidents and other volunteers during the dinner as well as esteemed professionals, and students with scholarship awards.

Through our annual PRemio awards, HPRA has distributed more than $170,000 in scholarships to Latino students in Southern California pursuing a degree in the field of communications. We are also proud to honor Latino communicators who are innovators in their fields and who continue to pave the way for future generations.
