Cantore – VP of Programming @ MTV Latin America.

MTV Networks Latin America announces today the appointment of Jacqueline Cantore as Vice President of Programming for MTV Latin America. Cantore will be based in Miami at MTV Networks Latin America’s headquarters and will report to Charlie Singer, Executive Vice President, Programming, Creative and Strategic Marketing for MTV Networks Latin America.

In this position, Cantore will be responsible for supervising all program scheduling and program acquisitions for MTV Latin America. She will collaborate with production, creative and international in an effort to maximize our programming efforts, as well as work with ad sales to enhance opportunities for corporate partners.

Cantore brings to MTVNLA over a decade of experience in creative television programming and production spanning several regions including Latin America, the US, Europe, and Asia. This appointment marks her second time joining the MTVN family since her five-year tenure at MTV Networks – Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1990 where she served as a key member of the launch team for MTV Brazil.

Most recently, Cantore was instrumental in implementing programming for two start ups, the first being an English speaking channel for the US Hispanic market, SiTV; and the second involved the development of the children’s programming block for National Geographic India.
