SBS’s El Vacilón De La Mañana Goes To The Big Screen.

According to Radio and Records, WSKQ/New York’s Luis Jiménez is taking his No.1 morning show, El Vacilón de la Mañana, to the big screen with El Vacilón: The Movie. The film will follow many of the show’s characters, both real and fictional, as they live out adventures — often times inspired by caller testimonies heard on the air. One hundred lucky audience members will be chosen to participate as extras in the film through a contest that begins Aug. 28. The film begins filming in September for a February 2005 release and will be directed and produced by Agustin of Baby Legs Entertainment.
