del Rivero Messianu DDB will be promoting the 5th Annual Latin Grammy Awards through a new print and radio advertising campaign.
The concept behind the upcoming campaign is to make Latin Grammy viewers feel as if they were in the front row at the show, but from the comfort of their own home.
“With del Rivero Messianu’s strong ties into the Hispanic market, The Latin Recording Academy couldn’t have picked a more appropriate partner to help us spread the excitement of the 5th annual Latin Grammys Sept. 1,”said Gabriel Abaroa, President of the Latin Recording Academy. “We are relying on del Rivero Messianu’s creativity and outreach to help make this show an extraordinary success.””.
“It’s an exciting challenge to help the Latin Recording Academy build the Latin Grammy brand. It’s one of those things that should make us feel proud of the in roads we’ve made as a group in this country” said Luis Miguel Messianu, Chief Creative Officer, del Rivero Messianu DDB.
There will be three creative executions, which will run in magazines, newspaper and “out of home” spots including: billboards, taxi tops, and transit shelters. In addition,a 60-second radio spot will support the advertising campaign,which is scheduled to launch on August 9, 2004 and will target the Miami, Los Angeles and New York markets.
The 5th Annual Latin Grammy Awards will air on September 1, 2004 from 8-10 pm ET/PT on the CBS Television Network.
