Creative Civilization Anchor Tenant Catalyst Of Revitalization Project.

Creative Civilization announced plans for the relocation of its corporate headquarters. Currently located in Alamo Plaza in downtown San Antonio, the agency will be moving from under 5,000 square feet of space to over 15,000 square feet, thus tripling in size. The new building is located in an area of downtown San Antonio known as Auditorium Circle and will be undergoing an adaptive reuse project over the next six months.

“The agency has experienced rapid growth over its first five years of operation and we have simply outgrown our current space,” said Gisela Girard, president/COO of Creative Civilization. “As we celebrate our 5-year Anniversary, the custom-made office space sets the stage for our Agency’s continued growth and importance as one of the most active and robust agencies in the Southwest.”

The 30-person full-service advertising agency represents the most recognizable brands in the region, including the San Antonio Spurs, Hearst Corporation – San Antonio Express-News and Conexión publications, American Cancer Society, City Public Service, KLASS food and beverage products, SBC Center, San Fernando Cathedral City Centre, San Antonio Silver Stars, San Antonio Rampage, San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, Our Lady of the Lake University, San Antonio Museum of Art and Las Misiones, among others.

Occupying the entire second floor, Creative Civilization will be the anchor tenant at 106 Auditorium Circle. Referred to as “Project Inspiration,” the adaptive reuse project, designed by FisherHeck Architects, will turn the 30,000 square foot building, which was originally built in the 1920’s as a Studebaker automotive dealership, into a sleek, contemporary and high-tech headquarters for the agency.

The Agency’s new space is highlighted by three unique, New York loft-style light monitors that will provide natural sunlight to the inspirational workspace. The space includes office space for 60 employees, 4 department conference rooms, media-viewing suite, full-service kitchen and employee lounge, boardroom, print production room and a 3rd story loft for agency brainstorm sessions. Dramatic space designs will be accentuated with a series of soft, muted colors and occasional use of bold colors.

“We are proud to be a contributor of San Antonio’s creative culture,” said Al Aguilar chairman & CEO, Creative Civilization. “Our new work environment will provide inspiration for creating monumental ideas that generate unprecedented results.”
