Pappas Telecasting Launches Azteca America Affiliates In Omaha & Nebraska.

Pappas Telecasting Companies announced that it has affiliated three of its television stations in Nebraska with the Azteca America network.
On June 17, Omaha-area viewers were the first in the state of Nebraska to receive Spanish-language television via a local, over-the-air broadcast on KAZO-LP/Channel 57. Lincoln’s Azteca America affiliate, KWAZ-LP/Channel 56, also began providing service to Lancaster County and adjacent communities, and K57HV/Channel 57 commenced broadcasting from its transmitter south of Columbus to the majority of Platte, Colfax, Polk, and Butler counties.
