The two teams headed into the finals of the Copa Toyota Libertadores will be determined this week as they play the second leg of their semifinal matches. Fox Sports en Español will bring live and exclusive coverage of what will be a heated contest between four fired up teams starting on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at 8:30 p.m. (ET)/5:30 p.m. (PT) in Manizales when Once Caldes confronts Sao Paulo. Defending champions, Boca Juniors takes on River Plate on Thursday, June 17 at 8:00 p.m. (ET)/5:00 p.m. (PT).
Once Caldes will try to become the second Colombian team to win a Copa Toyota Libertadores title as Atletico Nacional won the 1989 competition. Sao Paolo is making their fifth appearance in the finals, and hopes to take their third trophy. If Boca Juniors win this year’s competition, it will be their sixth, and place them second to Independiente who has won the most Copa Toyota Libertadores championship titles. River Plate is hoping to make their fifth appearance in the finals and win a third title.
