Verizon Wireless @ Viva Partnership.

Linda Gonzalez, president of The VIVA Partnership, Inc., announced that Verizon Wireless has selected Viva as their agency of record for all Spanish-language and Hispanic national advertising media services.

Viva is now charged with all planning, purchasing and management responsibilities for the wireless company’s media programs covering Hispanic markets nationwide. The media buys encompass television, radio, cable, print, out-of-home, sponsorships and non-traditional media outreach.

“The Viva team has a solid grasp of the Hispanic market combined with a proven ability to manage all facets of media planning and buying,” said Marvin Davis, vice president – advertising for Verizon Wireless. “We are confident that this is the right team to help move the business forward and increase the company’s brand awareness with this market segment.”

According to Gonzalez, Viva is looking forward to the increased responsibility presented by the expanded relationship “This is a company with the vision to embrace multicultural markets early on,” says Gonzalez. “They took a leadership role and are working to sustain it.”
