La Raza 102.3FM Launches In Atlanta.

Davis Broadcasting, Inc. launched Atlanta’s first and only Spanish language FM radio station this week, filling a huge void in the radio landscape. “La Raza 102.3FM” WLKQ-FM will provide the area’s rapidly growing Hispanic community with a Spanish language listening option on the FM dial.
“La Raza 102.3FM” will broadcast the nation’s # 1 Spanish language radio format — Regional Mexican; and will be
commercial free through May 2nd.

Programming direction for WLKQ-FM “La Raza 102.3FM” will be provided by Juan Carlos Hidalgo, President of Mass Radio Inc., one of the country’s leading Spanish language programming consultants. Mr. Hidalgo was program director of KLAX-FM, Los Angeles when it became the first Spanish language radio station to achieve the # 1 position in the nation’s 2nd largest radio market.
