WKAQ-TV In Puerto Rico Celebrates 50 Years Of Service To Viewers.

WKAQ-TV began broadcasting in Puerto Rico in 1954. The station celebrate the date at a special event at the Centro de Bellas Artes Luis A. Ferré in San Juan. Present at the event were Giselle, José Feliciano, José Luis Rodríguez, Johnny Ventura, Yolandita Monje, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Bobby Valentín, el Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, el compositor Cuco Peña, Danny Rivera, la ex-Miss Universo Deborah Carthy Deu, Angela Meyer, Carmen Jovet, ex-Menudo: Charlie Masso, Rey Reyes, Rene Farrait, Ricky Meléndez y Miguel Cancel; Paquito Cordero and Tv host Eddie Miró.
