Univision Radio announces the appointment of Sergio Rozenblat to the position of Vice President of FM Programming Operations for the U.S. Southeastern Region, which includes Miami and Puerto Rico. Rozenblat will join Univision Radio’s top-rated cluster of FM stations to maximize the potential and effectiveness of the program directors in the region. He will also ensure that systems and communication within the cluster’s programming departments operate to full capacity. Rozenblat will report to Ms. Claudia Puig, Senior Vice President, Southeastern Region General Manager.

Prior to joining Univision Radio, Rozenblat founded and presided over a financial services company dedicated to serving Hispanics in the US and Puerto Rico. He was also the Executive Director of The Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (LARAS). During his tenure there, three new categories were introduced for Latin Grammy Awards, membership was increased 200 percent and the first Latin Grammy Award telecast was announced for September 2001, one-year earlier than originally scheduled. Prior to his involvement with LARAS, Rozenblat was Vice President and General Manager of WEA Latina, a Warner Music International, Time Warner Company.
Rozenblat, who is also an attorney with a specialization in entertainment law, has extensive experience in publicity, marketing and music promotion. He has been credited with the United States’ marketing of top-selling artists such as Gloria Estefan, Julio Iglesias, Luis Miguel and many others.
