Zubi Advertising had an extremely successful weekend at the 2004 ADDY Gala Awards. Having submitted their creative campaigns for such clients as American Airlines, The Florida Lottery, Ford Motor Company, MasterFoods and Wachovia, Zubi took home 22 Awards in various categories. The preeminent advertising awards were held at the Miami Museum of Science & Planetarium this past Saturday, February 28.
“We saw a lot of great work from many agencies and are thrilled with the recognition we received,” said Joe Zubizarreta, Chief Operating Officer of Zubi Advertising. “Awards such as these validate the hard work and creative inspiration of so many dedicated team members.”
Zubi entered several of its creative campaigns in this year’s awards program. The Miami based agency with over 100 local employees won gold awards for such campaigns as The Florida Lottery spot titled “Hard Workers,” which opens with characters going to work, punching in and changing into uniforms in the locker room. A whistle then commands the workers to walk in a single line to an enclosed room where they are wearing all white and bouncing up and down and into each other. The main character gets sucked up to the top of the room to reveal that they are in fact the lottery balls.
“I am exceptionally proud of my team for submitting work that is extremely creative, yet intelligent and strategic as well,” said Emmie Vazquez, Vice President and Creative Director of Zubi Advertising. “This combination of forces not only wins awards, but also generates results for our clients and elevates creative standards for the Hispanic market overall.”
