La Agencia de Orci AOR For La Opinion.

La Agencia de Orci & Asociados announced they have been chosen as the agency of record for La Opinion, the leading Spanish-language newspaper in Los Angeles. As the agency of record, La Agencia launched new consumer and business-to-business advertising campaigns for the newspaper, designed to reinforce the paper’s leadership position within the Los Angeles community. The campaigns utilize radio spots, print and OOH advertising.

La Agencia de Orci developed the new consumer campaign to reflect the feeling of empowerment La Opinion readers feel after reading the paper, with a tagline of “Lee La Opinion y ve mas alla”/”Read La Opinion and see beyond, go beyond.” The campaign is reflective of the value proposition that La Opinion offers with its award-winning editorial offering. The ads target Los Angeles Latinos, both men and women, with a median age of 36, who value product quality, family tradition, integrity, community commitment and innovation.

The business-to-business campaign utilizes real-life testimonials from high-level and high-powered executives to convey the benefits of advertising in La Opinion. The ads mirror the feel of the consumer campaign and carry the same tagline. The testimonials describe how these executives have been successful in reaching the powerful Hispanic marketplace and demonstrate how they have “gone beyond” traditional advertising. The campaign targets media professionals and those companies interested in reaching the Los Angeles Latinos through advertising.

“La Agencia de Orci is a pioneer in US Hispanic advertising industry and, like La Opinion, has recognized the importance of serving the Latino community for nearly two decades,” states Monica Lozano, publisher and CEO for La Opinion. “We have a long-standing partnership, 77-years to be exact, with this community, and we’re committed to continually growing that partnership. Our work with La Agencia de Orci will ensure we put our best foot forward.”

“We are extremely proud to be working with LA’s oldest and most influential Spanish-language newspaper,” explains Jaime Ramirez, vice president — director of client services for La Agencia de Orci & Asociados. “La Opinion is more than a newspaper. It’s a guardian of the Latino community. Our job is to build on the awareness and customer loyalty from La
Opinion’s three generations of service to Los Angeles Hispanics.”
