OMD Worldwide and del Rivero Messianu DDB have joined forces to create OMD Latino.
“OMD Latino will be a Hispanic media powerhouse; the benefit to clients is quite clear,” said Page Thompson, CEO of OMD North America, said. “OMD Latino offers a strategic approach to media, Hispanic market depth, maximization of cost efficiencies and the alignment and integration of the overall marketing and creative processes.”
“I’ve been personally pursuing the idea of creating OMD Latino for some time, so I’m really excited to see it come to fruition. The need to address the Hispanic media market in a more sophisticated and professional manner has been long overdue,” said Eduardo del Rivero.
Based in New York and Miami, OMD Latino will have a dedicated staff of 12, led by Serena Duff who has been appointed Director of Hispanic Media for OMD Latino, a new post, reporting directly to Jill Botway, Managing Director of OMD East. Ms. Duff will remain a Director of Strategy at OMD East and will continue to be based in New York.
Ana Crandell formerly the Media Director of dRM DDB, becomes Media Director of OMD Latino. She continues to be based in Miami.
Jeanette Millan has been named Director of Broadcast of OMD Latino. Ms. Millan was most recently the Media Supervisor at Mosaica, Miami.
