The Billboard Latin Music Awards … LIVE!

Latin music’s most prestigious awards show will be brought to viewers live for the very first time, allowing them to share in the excitement of the evening as winners step up to be recognized by their peers and fans. The 2004 Billboard Latin Music Awards will take place on Thursday, April 29th, 2004 at the Miami Arena in Florida and will be produced and broadcast live by Telemundo at 7PM ET/PT.

One of the greatest line-ups of Latin superstars will come together for this multi-million dollar original production, which will highlight the star-studded red-carpet, the awards show featuring a musical extravaganza and a VIP pass to the exclusive after party.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards honor the most popular albums, songs, and performers in Latin music, as determined by the actual sales and radio airplay data from Nielsen SoundScan and Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems that informs Billboard’s weekly charts during a one-year period from the issue dated February 15, 2003 through February 7, 2004.
