Telemundo Readies To Release STRETCH v 3.2.

Telemundo announced the new release of Stretch Version 3.2, the media planning tool enabling planners to properly assess the incremental value Spanish-language network television provides to an overall client media plan.

Stretch, an acronym for the “Spanish Television Reach Evaluator for Targeting Campaigns to Hispanics”, was originally released in 1993 and has become an industry standard. The newest release incorporates a number of enhancements requested by the advertising and media industry. Specifically, updated reach and frequency curves reflective of three Spanish television networks, 2004 universe estimates for both the NTI and NHTI, and the addition of older target demographics.

“Stretch continues to validate the under delivery of general market television schedules among Hispanic viewers, and continues to validate the growth of viewers to Spanish language television” said Mike O’Shea Telemundo’s Vice-President of Business Development.

Telemundo will release Stretch to its clients on February 13th, 2004 and will host two training sessions in order to highlight the updates and new features.
