AOL Latino Growing The Charter Sponsorship Arena.

AOL Latino is rolling out its Charter Launch Sponsorship program with four leading brands including General Motors, Coca Cola, InterContinental Hotels Group and Lions Gate Entertainment.

“Our research shows that Hispanics are coming online in record numbers, especially those who prefer to communicate in Spanish,” said Peter Blacker, Vice President, International & U.S. Hispanics, AOL Networks Sales and Solutions. “While advertisers are looking for new ways to reach this expanding population, AOL Latino has the ability to communicate directly with this audience in an interactive and compelling manner. We are thrilled to launch our new Spanish language service with each of these category leading sponsors, and are confident this program will successfully raise the profile of our partners among the largest minority group in the U.S.”

“The Hispanic community is very important to Chevrolet. Chevrolet’s partnership with AOL Latino brings forth an opportunity to positively address the need for dedicated Hispanic Internet Service Providers. Chevrolet is proud to be a part of this inaugural effort,” said Jim Jandasek, Chevrolet Advertising Director.

“This sponsorship is an exciting and strategic initiative for IHG because it reaches an audience that shares the family-friendly values as those offered by our brands. We also know that more and more Hispanics are using the Internet to research hotels and book online. Being a part of this new program with a leading Internet Service Provider helps to ensure that we’re reaching audiences important to our business now and in the future,” said Del Ross, Director, Global E-commerce Services.

“We are very excited about our new relationship with AOL Latino. AOL Latino’s programming services represent a unique opportunity for Lions Gate to connect with Latino moviegoers and tell them about exciting new releases like Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights,” said Tom Ortenberg, President of Lions Gate Film Releasing.
