Conde – VP Network Corporate Development @ Univision.

Univision Communications announced the appointment of Cesar Conde to the position of Vice President, Network Corporate Development. Conde will be responsible for developing initiatives focused on enhancing the growth and profitability of the Network. Based in Miami, Conde will report to Ray Rodriguez, President and Chief Operating Officer, Univision Television Networks.

“With extensive practice in the media and financial businesses, and significant prior experience with Univision, Cesar brings a wealth of industry knowledge and operating experience to this position,” said Rodriguez. “I am confident that his talent, creativity, and leadership skills will help him further our success by promoting growth and profitability at all of our television networks.”

Prior to returning to Univision, Conde was appointed by President George W. Bush as one of thirteen 2002-2003 White House Fellows. In this capacity, he served as the White House fellow to Secretary of State Colin L. Powell at the Department of State. Previously, Conde was the Vice President of Business Development at the Univision Network, where he was responsible for developing cross platform strategic partnerships. Prior to Univision, Conde was the Vice President of Business Development at StarMedia Network, the first internet company focused on Spanish and Portuguese-speaking audiences globally. Prior to StarMedia, Mr. Conde was an investment banker at Salomon Smith Barney in their mergers and acquisitions group.

Conde is the Founder of the Futuro Program, a community outreach program that provides role models and educational workshops to Hispanic high school students. He holds a B.A. with honors from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
