LATV, an entertainment, information, and lifestyle network targeting Latino youth and young adults has partnered with the Citadel Outlets shopping center to bring forward Citadel Outlets’ second annual “Rockin’ Holiday Tree Lighting & Shopping Extravaganza” on Saturday, November 22, 2003 from 10am-8pm. LATV VJ’s will be on stage as hosts of the musical portion of the event which includes performances by local and well known Latino performers Jae-P, California Show, Los Pinguos, Inner City Soul and Fourtet.
The charity portion of the event, in which the music artists are participating in, will provide 100% of the donations raised to help a variety of 501 C (3) non-profit organizations including the Rio Hondo Boys and Girls Club, Alta Med and SALEF.
“LATV’s programming reflects the interests and realities of being a young, bilingual U.S. Latino,” said Daniel Crowe, president of LATV. “We look forward to working with the Citadel to provide quality entertainment to this charitable event. And we are grateful to the artists who will donate their time and talent.”
“Rockin’ Holiday Tree Lighting & Shopping Extravaganza” will ignite the Holiday spirit for all attendees. It features a “Shopping Extravaganza” charity drive in the morning, musical performances throughout the day, an evening tree lighting ceremony with a visit from Santa Claus and all guests will witness the lighting of nearly 4,000 sparkling lights on a forty-five foot “Tree of Stars.” All this amidst real snow in the courtyard will welcome in the Holiday Season!
