Upon securing an agreement with the Mexican Soccer Federation, SoCCER Plus’s first international event will be organizing the Mexican Soccer Awards in the United States. This high-profile event will capture the attention of soccer fans in both the United States and Mexico by recognizing the best professional players from the Mexican soccer league and the Mexican National Team as selected by the Hispanic media in this country.
Alejandro Gutman, Co-Chairman of Futbol de Primera, the exclusive radio rights holders in all languages of the FIFA World Cup 2006 and of the Mexican National Team, will serve as CEO of SoCCER Plus and will now devote his time to managing and expanding this newly formed marketing company.
“After almost two decades of establishing contacts and friendships with the top personalities in the world of soccer, and after another ten years of involvement in the game as a professional player, I truly believe that I can apply my expertise in the many different areas of the business of soccer in order to develop SoCCER Plus so that it becomes one of the leading sports marketing companies in the world,” stated Alejandro Gutman.
