Latino Marketing Awards 2003.

Latino Marketing Awards (LMAs) 2003, the second annual search for the very best in advertising, public relations, and marketing campaigns that target Latino audiences. The LMAs are a unique forum for recognizing the special skills and talent that it takes to execute a campaign that resonates with the United States’ diverse Latino populations. LMA winners will be honored at a dinner held at Univision’s KMEX-TV in Los Angeles in December 2003.

Previously, awards competitions most frequently included Latino-targeted campaigns in a single category that includes other multicultural campaigns. The LMAs are the first Latino-targeted awards competition to recognize talent in a broad range of categories, such as consumer products, corporate branding, and technique. The awards provide practitioners with the opportunity to see what their peers are doing to respond to the increasing demand for innovation, creativity, and cultural competence in this market. At the heart of the LMAs is the desire to create awards and an awards event that reflect the prestige, professionalism, and cultural competence of Latino-targeted marketing campaign.
