Decker – VP @ The Bravo Group.

Meg Bernot-Rodriguez, Senior Vice President and Managing Partner, The Bravo Group, announces the promotion of Tracy Decker to Vice President of The Bravo Group. Tracy adds this title to her current position of Associate Media Director. She has been part of the Bravo media team since 2000.

Tracy’s career in advertising spans almost two decades. Her professional background encompasses General and Hispanic market, a variety of packaged goods and service categories and vast experience in both traditional advertising and Direct Response. Tracy’s greatest area of category expertise is the telecommunications category. She is possibly one of the most knowledgeable media professionals when it comes to this category. In fact, Tracy started out her career 18 years ago at NW Ayer working in the national buying group on the AT&T account.

“This promotion to Vice President is recognition of Tracy’s contribution to the Agency’s mission to be our clients’ most valued business partner,” said Meg Bernot- Rodriguez.

Tracy’s first contact with the Hispanic market resulted from her work on Toys “R” Us. It was Tracy who championed the U.S. Hispanic market and eventually convinced this client to launch Toys “R” Us in this market. In 1990, she was recruited by Siboney/FCB and officially “crossed-over” into the Hispanic market. In 1993, Tracy moved on to Messner, Vetere, Berger, McNamee, Schmetterer/EURO RSCG to establish their Hispanic media division working closely on the MCI business. At Messner, she also was charged with media responsibilities for other multicultural markets including the Middle Eastern and Eastern European segments.
