George Lopez To Host Latin Grammy Awards.

Critically acclaimed comedian/actor George Lopez will host the 4th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards telecast. In addition, Jessica Alba, JC Chasez, Daisy Fuentes, Juan Luis Guerra, Adam Rodriguez, Roselyn Sanchez, Tyrese, and Sofia Vergara will appear as presenters during the telecast. The show originates from AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami on September 3, and will be broadcast on the CBS Television Network at 9 p.m. (ET/PT). Additional performers and presenters will be announced shortly.

George Lopez is one of the premier comedic talents in the entertainment industry today. He is the co-creator, writer, producer and star of the hit ABC sitcom “George Lopez.” A multifaceted talent, Lopez has earned kudos for his performances in the films Real Women Have Curves and Bread And Roses. He also hosted a radio show, becoming the first Latino to headline the key morning radio slot on an English-language station in Los Angeles. Maintaining an extremely active schedule as a stand-up comedian, Lopez is a major concert attraction from coast to coast — even performing for the president at the historic Ford Theatre in Washington, D.C. — and his latest CD Team Leader was released in May to great public acclaim. Lopez can be seen as the newest cast member of HBO’s “Inside The NFL” for the 2003-2004 football season, and is working on an autobiography slated for release by Touchstone/Fireside (a division of Simon & Schuster) in 2004.
